So much of our community are members of the military, Jacksonville and Onslow County is a very transient population. Due to this, our real estate market stays very strong unlike some other parts of the country. There are always new Onslow County citizens wishing to purchase their first home, families that need to up size or down size their home because of family dynamics and those that are leaving the area may need to sell their home. Some of our military families decide to use their home in Jacksonville as an investment property while they serve in other parts of the country knowing that they will return to Onslow County and are assured they will have a home to return to.
